anyway a good setup for a congo is just a basic cup with some netting over the top and an elastic band. you can put a stick in there but be careful not to over crow it as ben above said.

Great thnx for advice, whats the best sort of netting to use? and in the first couple of stages is it only flies it can be fed on? Just trying to get a better understanding of the congos so all advise is appreciated

if they are l3/l4 which they probably will be then they will take fruit flies and micro crickets, then it can move up when it molts to house flies, greenbots, bluebots, wax worms, meal worms, crickets and locusts, so basically anything you can find. and the netting you can find in fabric shops and stuff and it has to be quite fine netting.
