Question Eating shed skin?

Hi,

This is probably a very newbie question but do mantids eat their shed skin? I ask because one of nymphs shed last week (I found the shed skin) and has been noticeably bigger than my other two. Today, one of the others seems to be equally as big now but I have not found any discarded skin.

Cheers
Kate

I've never seen a mantis eat the shed skin. Seen phasmids do it a lot.

are there crickets in the bottom? because there is a good chance that they would have eaten it and trampled all over it!
