Default Theopropus Elegans

Hi I'm planning to catch an asian boxer mantis theopropus elegans at a park during my school holidays.Any infos and advice

Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils..

i would love one of these mantids, i have never seen them in the pet trade, if you do get some send some to me!

1 Elaphe Gutata (pewter)
2 Rhacodactylus Ciliatus
1 Ceratophrys Cranwelli
1 Brachypelma Smithi
1 Grammostola Rosea

any one seen david attenborough's "enter the mantis" where at the end there in singapore part right in the center of town where they film a male mount a female and mate..been trying to get this species for a long time..the amount of pms i sent yen begging him for them...lol,he ended up giving his collection to the museum..shame i would of loved to raise some of these..the male and female mug shot would be stunning..an amazing species that needs to be in culture in the uk...graham should go over to singapore just for this species

I'm still a noob when it comes to mantises you know, so i can't really identify what a mantis ooth looks like YET but I'm still learning

I don't live in a park haha but close to that since there's trees wherever you goBy park I mean nature parks and nature reserves.Sorry for not being specificIt's not illegal when you know how to take care of them thats why I need advice and infos!

Il be in singapore in 2 months, any advice where to go to look for these?

Yea of courseJust remember these 2 places:
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve &
Upper Peirce Reservoir forest.
Actually the area is quite big and both places I mentioned above are linked so just take a walk around and see if you're lucky!Good luck ctkaan
