I got these from andy (cosmicbug) at the BTS 5 were 2nd instar and 1 was a 1st instar but molted a few days after i got them home. I am keeping them on there own in empty Asda chocolate moose cartons (see moulting pic) with net curtain on the top secured with a elastic band. They are feed twice a day on FF just as many as they can eat, the record is held by the big one 11 in one day
i try not to leave any flys in over night as this is the time when nearly all of them molted. They are kept at mid 90s to 100 degree temps during the day with a heat mat and table lamp from 7:30am untill 8:00pm at night. They are cooled at night but are still kept at high 70s -80 degrees, i have only sprayed them at the most twice a week but sometimes only once after a molt, i read that they are a desert species and like hot temps and very little spraying, mine seem to be thriving in these conditions all 6 doing really well. check out this care sheet i found Blepharopsis Mendica Care. This is just my opinion you might be better asking andy for advice as they are his babys
