Alex, one of my females just became subadult yesterday, and the ovipositer got huge, much more pronounced. judging by the fact that there is no protruding ovipositer, it's a male, and the wingbud size looks like that of a subadult. L6 right? my female used to be L5 before molting into subadult, I talked to you about a week or two ago, you said it was L5, so I imagine it is L6 now. I am pretty confident we have subadults, if only my male would molt (he's about to). I have 1 subadult female and 2 L5 females, as well as 2 L5 males, 1 male molted to L5 last night. my late L5 male is Mr. 5 leg, he had a minor mismolt to L3 and lost a back leg, still didn't grow back. but that male is valuable, there are like 2 or 3 people here looking for an adult male to breed with their females, so good luck with him, and it is really fascinating to wake up and see a freshly molted adult male creobroter, white in color, drying his wings (happened to me)
