Ah sorry, you're not naiive, I was just sloppy with my words. I meant it had only tables selling and no exhibits/entertainments/educational stalls as Bugfest and some AES events have.

andie: one was a bit weak and died, but the one thats left is quite strong now, its just very slow at growing, it seems healthy and strong though, i might heat it up a bit as it has wing buds, it must be gearing up for another moult soon, hopefully the last one... its been around for so long now i've lost track of its instars! lol! it will probally go on for annother 12 months as an adult at this rate!

plant: catterpillar castle are these really cool products that this company sells LiveMonarch.com Soft Cage Castle

unfortunately thier based in america andie was selling some at bugfest last year, i bought one, its fantastic for my gongy, but i can see it being useful for everything from mantids to phasmids, unfortunately he cant get hold of them anymore

Why not just order one yourself of the website? I've just ordered a 12'' cube one £7.19 inc P+P, they look like the perfect mantid house. Thanks for the link to the website
