Nice 1! 2nds already? At this rate you`ll have them adult by May! i`ve got some fat 1sts...you must keep them a lot warmer than mine, or something? I`ve got my 100 of `Generation Zero` nowPlenty of FFs going too; just cultured another 3 pots

You mean 1st generation surely ? you raised the parents and paired them up so these nymphs should be your 1st gen

Hmmm. Just watching a few more abseiling out of the ooth. There seems to be some sequence to the hatching. The bottom eggs have hatched first and hatching has `moved up` the ooth. These are hatching from the mid-point now. It is as if the last to be laid are the first to hatch. If any more hatch I could be on for 200 nymphs...which is wayyy toooo many for me to raise!

According to the rules mate...w/c ooth, nymph, adult => c/b mantids => ooths=> gen. 0=> gen. 1.....as I understand it anyway. lol! I`m still in my mantid `apprenticeship` i thought(?) But I`ll have another read

maybe mate, but it seems more logical if you raised them from eggs, wc or not, to adult, pair them off and get ooths and then nymphs, these latter nymphs are your 1st gen ? not certain though, still a nice job done
