OK so when i came in this morning the female was in the middle of laying and ooth but problem is she's laid in on the underside of one of those vented faunarium type lids. do i leave in situ and remove adult or do i try and remove???
Any advice greatly accepted Mark |

Providing your very carefull the oothe can be removed but its really up to you. But you must leave it now to harden properly so it stands less chance of being damaged if you do decide to remove it. Ive managed to peel them off fine from the same type and place as yours has been laid. If you leave it the nymphs they will probably get through the vents (possibly) so you would have to cover the top with net somehow, difficult when she has laid inside. Or you could pur the lid inside another larger enclosure until they have hatched.
I take it shee's mated now ? |

Mine took just over 2 months but this was at room temp low to mid 70's slightly higher temps may cause them to hatch in a shorter time and normally tapered side down. I dont think it makes a whole lot of difference as sometimes they are laid horizontal anyway. Try and hang it the way it was laid if you can remember..
